The scary thing is that I went to THAT EXACT SAME LECTURE! But clearly on a different day and year and so ‘exact’ is probably inaccurate.

Ah yes. The sodastream and Worzel…who could therefore argue that we are not one and the same person?! And if they are still in doubt they should see that my story (and I swear I didn’t have clue when I submitted to Tonto that you were writing something entitled Like Bees to Honey) was entitled ‘Crazy Bees’. A shared interest in bees too!

Funnily enough my interest in bees came from my first every English Language class at Liverpool University when we learnt about their complex communication system which I found fascinating…and how it’s used so they can inform each other (personification of bees sorry!) of how far away honey is and how much there is. It’s all bum wiggling really…

Geek – me?! Absolutely.

Hubby & I went to the Arts Festival last year in Liverpool & it was brilliant! It is such a vibrant city. So glad someone had the sense to call you & get you involved. Talent needs showing!!

I must get my eyes tested yet again…kept reading it as Liver head with a silent H of course and wondered why you were getting in to the butchery trade. I once met God in Whitechapel but he surprised me a bit as he didn’t have a long white beard etc just a pork pie hat necktie and large hobnail boots…nothing else so a long white beard would not have gone amiss:0) Glad people are taking notice of Bees be good if they notice the author has a track record of great novels already published too.

Sounds thoroughly fantastic. Love Liverpool, love literature, and imagine I’ll love ‘Like Bees to Honey’. And with a splattering of Scouse Jesus too. Wish I’d met him when I was studying in Liverpool. He could have performed miracles for me and got me out of my overdraft, got me that First that eluded me (damn that modernist literature module), and given me the common sense to get rid of the waste of space boyfriend I had. Oh well…

Looking forward to reading it and to seeing the film with Johnny Depp!
