This one’s a simple review for me to write: If you like singing games and if you have a Wii, then We Sing – UK Hits has the BEST track list of any singing game I’ve ever played.
There, see, simple. And now I can get back to prancing around my front room, doing my best ever impression of Rick Astley. And I’m sure my neighbours absolutely enjoyed my rendition of ‘Making Your Mind Up’, complete with dance moves. Funny how some dance routines stay with you a lifetime, isn’t it? I still want a skirt that swooshes off in one smooth action.
Adele (Chasing Pavements), Amy Winehouse (Rehab), Blur (Girls and Boys), Bucks Fizz (Making Your Mind Up), Dusty Springfield (Son Of A Preacher Man), Florence + The Machine (You’ve Got The Love), Happy Mondays (Step On), Kim Wilde (Kids in America), Pulp (Common People), Rick Astley (Never Gonna Give You Up), Texas (I Don’t Want A Lover), Tinie Tempah (Pass Out) and many, many more, We Sing – UK Hits(Wii) is really rather fabulous!
Six decades of iconic British music, performed exclusively by world-famous UK artists. There are 40 smash hit songs, including 20 Number 1 hits, so there’s (I’m sure you’ll agree) a little something for everyone. The We Sing collection are the first singing games which allow four mics and four singers to perform together. There are Solo and Party modes, as well as singing lessons (for those of you who can’t yet sing like a professional, like me… ahem!). There is Party Mode which includes Pass The Mic, First to X, Blind and so many more features. But, my favourite is Karaoke mode, with the vocals removed. That’s when I get to be Rick Astley…
It’s fair to say that we rarely use our Wii these days, but as long as the genius that is Nordic Games continue to make such amazing singing games, then, clearly, I’ll keep playing on our Wii. Seriously, I can’t recommend this one enough. BEST track list EVER.
